Jamie Paterson fit for Stoke trip, Luke Cundle in contention for debut
Jamie Paterson returns to the Swansea City squad for Wednesday’s visit to Stoke, while new signing Luke Cundle will also be among the travelling party.
Head coach Russell Martin also revealed that West Ham winger Armstrong Oko-Flex could be in the squad as he nears the completion of a season-long loan move.
Ben Cabango misses out through suspension following is red card at Middlesbrough, while Joel Latibeaudiere and Liam Walsh are long-term absentees.
“Apart from Ben Cabango being suspended and Latibeaudiere out, we’ve got everyone fit,” said Martin.
“Pato is back in the squad which is brilliant news for us. It’s massive to have him back.
“We were talking yesterday about creating and scoring goal, Pato was a big source of goals and assists for us last season and hopefully we can build him up and he can be the player we know he can be.
“We hope Luke will bring creativity and confidence on the pitch and we are looking forward to seeing what he can bring.
“We also have Armstrong Okoflex in the building doing his medical. He is a wide player who really likes to get at people.
“The plan is that he and Luke will be in the squad for the game.”
