Jack Cork: Consecutive wins have raised confidence

31st January

Jack Cork insists consecutive victories over Watford and Everton have given the Swans a huge boost as they target a third-straight win at West Brom on Tuesday (7.45pm).
A 1-0 win over Watford was followed up with a first league victory against Everton last Sunday in what was head coach Francesco Guidolin's first game in charge.
Now the Swans head to the Hawthorns targeting a third consecutive win - a result which would see them move above Tony Pulis' side on goal difference.
And Cork believes recent results have provided the team with a huge lift in confidence ahead of the test against the Baggies.

"We needed the two recent wins because it gave us a real boost.
"No-one expected us to win at Everton, especially as we had never won there in the league. That result really raises confidence.
"When there is a lot of pressure on you it makes it harder to perform. But when you get two consecutive victories it eases that pressure significantly.
"For us it's a big game. Maybe people outside of this club won't think that, but we can go above them in the table if we win.
"That would be three wins on the bounce, and for us that would be massive."
