Iwan Morgan wins Westacres goal of the month vote for January

Iwan Morgan’s fine finish against Burnley Under-21s has come out on top in Swansea City’s Westacres Goal of the Month vote for January.

It was the 17-year-old’s first goal for the Swans Under-21s this term having also racked up 17 in all competitions for the Under-18s so far this season.

It’s been another excellent week for the in-form striker who also bagged five goals in two matches while on international duty with Wales Under-17s in Israel.

Ollie Cooper’s striker against Sunderland came second while Katy Hosford’s 30-yard chipped effort against Pontypridd United Women was voted in third. Jay Fulton’s smart strike against QPR was fourth.

Everyone who voted was entered into a random draw to win a signed shirt by Iwan. The winner has been contacted by email.
