Injury ends Leroy's season
Leroy Fer will miss the remainder of the season after Swansea City's captain suffered a strained medial ligament.
The Dutchman had only just returned from a hamstring injury in the win at Ipswich, but picked up the new issue during his late substitute appearance at Portman Road.
It caps a frustrating campaign for the former Norwich and QPR man, who has been limited to just 17 starts in all competitions as his recovery from a ruptured Achilles, plus groin and hamstring problems have added up to long spells on the sidelines.
His knee injury is expected to keep Fer sidelined for six to eight weeks, meaning he will play no part in the remaining Championship fixtures against Derby and Blackburn.
"We will be missing Leroy, he has picked up a strain in his knee in the game at Ipswich," said manager Graham Potter.
"He is having a bad run at the moment and will certainly be missing the next two matches.
"It looks like six to eight weeks with a strain of the medial ligament.
"It is unfortunate for him and for us, but we have to work to get him back to fitness. We have the close season to help him with that."
Potter expects to have the same group of players available for the clash with the Rams as he did for the draw with Hull at the weekend.
