Important information for supporters regarding Covid passes

1st October
Club

In anticipation of the upcoming introduction of NHS COVID passes on October 11, Swansea City are encouraging season ticket holders, as well as other supporters, to get prepared.

The introduction of this legislation in Wales will mean that people aged 18 and over who are attending any event with more than 10,000 people, must present one of the following in order to attend:

  • A digital NHS COVID pass.
  • A paper NHS COVID pass.
  • Proof of a recent negative Lateral Flow Test.

The most up to date information from Welsh Government can be found HERE.

Digital NHS COVID pass

Supporters who are fully vaccinated can prepare by signing up for their NHS COVID pass via a computer, tablet or mobile phone HERE.

Paper NHS COVID pass

Supporters who are aged 18 and over and are fully vaccinated but do not have the ability to obtain a digital passport – as well as those who do not have photographic ID - can request a paper COVID pass.

Please note that supporters should wait FIVE days after their final dose before requesting the paper copy.

This service is available seven days a week, between 9am and 5pm. To request a paper NHS COVID pass, call 0300 303 5667. GPs cannot provide this service.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The club understands that this process can take up to 10 working days, and therefore we are encouraging supporters who need to use this service to do so as soon as possible.

The club understands that there may be people who are not fully vaccinated due to official medical exemptions. There is no further information at present regarding this, however we will advise further when we have full guidance from Welsh Government.

At this time Swansea City AFC is simply trying to help supporters get prepared and encourage those who are eligible to download a COVID pass, in advance of the legislation being put into effect.

As soon as we get more information, the club will communicate to supporters across all official club channels but we urge supporters to undertake the necessary actions to make themselves eligible to attend fixtures going forward as compliance is mandatory for all attendees who are not exempt from the legislation.

As always, we thank supporters for their patience and support.

Diolch yn fawr.
