Ahead of Saturday’s south Wales derby against Cardiff City, we would like to remind supporters of the procedures in place for those attending the fixture.

The Swans travel to Cardiff City Stadium on Saturday, January 18 with kick-off at 12.30pm.

Please note that all supporters who have purchased a ticket and travel package have also been sent an email with the below information, which also confirms their coach number.

 

Ticketing

Supporters who have purchased a package will have received a physical voucher in the post. This voucher states your coach number on and must be brought with you on the day of the fixture.

Your voucher must be presented when boarding buses at the Swansea.com Stadium. Please note your voucher is not a ticket and will not allow entry to the Cardiff City stadium.

If you have not yet received your voucher by the time of this email, then please contact the ticket office for a replacement as soon as possible. 

Vouchers must be collected before matchday and the ticket office is open in person on Thursday and Friday this week, between 9am-5pm.

 

Coach numbers

Your coach has been emailed to you and is presented on your travel voucher. If you would like to switch which coach you are travelling on, please contact the ticket office before 12pm on Friday.

We cannot guarantee that we can allocate your request but will do our utmost to do so.

Please note, any persons travelling under 18 years of age MUST travel with a responsible adult who is sat on the same bus.

The ticket office will be open between 9am and 5pm on Thursday and Friday for in-person visits, additionally. 

 

Parking and arrival at the Swansea.com Stadium

Coaches will depart from the Swansea.com Stadium and all supporters are asked to arrive no later than 8.30am. Coach boarding will begin from 9am.

Supporters wishing to park at the stadium will be able to do so in the North Car Park. Access to the site will be via the north ramp off the A4067, and supporters will be directed to park in the North Car Park.

 

Facilities

There will be an external catering unit on arrival at the stadium selling breakfast items and soft drinks. Supporters will have access to toilets within the concourse. 

Supporters are welcome to take cold food and soft drinks to consume on the coaches, but all drinks bottles must be sealed when boarding. There is also a restriction on bags larger than A4, please read below for more information.

The club shop will also be open on the morning of the fixture from 8.30am.

Boarding the coaches and ID checks

As mentioned above, coach boarding will begin from 9am.

There will be a steward on the door of each coach, and all fans will have their photo ID checked against their travel voucher prior to boarding and bags searched before boarding the coaches.

Examples of photo ID include a passport, driving licence or official student card.

If you do not have a photo ID, or require further guidance or assistance, then please email support@swanseacity.com and we will be happy to provide information on ID options that will be accepted.

No bags larger than A4 size will be allowed on the coaches. Additionally, there will be thorough searches prior to boarding the coaches, and any supporters attempting to smuggle alcohol or other prohibited or dangerous items (including, but not limited to, flares and smoke canisters) onto the stadium site will be refused entry, issued with a stadium ban, and will not receive a refund.

Please note the club has a zero-tolerance approach to anti-social behaviour, and anyone found to be displaying such conduct will not be allowed to board the coaches. Under-18s must have an accompanying adult who is 18 or over with them to board the coaches.

No smoking or vaping is permitted on the coaches.

 

Sky Sports broadcast

Due to this fixture being a Sky Sports main event fixture, there is a chance that fans will be filmed getting on and off coaches.  

 

At the ground

 Once at the ground, supporters will head straight to the away end at Cardiff City Stadium. After full-time, the club encourages supporters to return to the same coach.
