Important information | Return of fans to Swansea.com Stadium
Swansea City is delighted to be able to welcome supporters back to the Swansea.com Stadium from next weekend.
Our Championship fixture against Preston North End on Saturday (January 22) will mark our first home game with supporters since December 11.
This comes on the back of an announcement from Welsh Government earlier today (Friday, January 14) regarding the easing of Covid-19 restrictions in Wales.
The club would also like to inform supporters that following discussions with Preston North End and the EFL, the kick-off time will return to its original time of 3pm.
It was previously switched to a 12.30pm kick-off to allow the game to be streamed to supporters as a result of Covid restrictions in Wales.
The club is delighted to be able to welcome supporters back, however we are faced with the challenge of ensuring that everyone returns in a safe and enjoyable way and we encourage fans to read the information outlined below.
NHS COVID pass
The NHS COVID pass will remain a requirement of entry to the stadium for all supporters and the club will provide fans with final details as to what will be required in respect to Covid passes next week.
In the meantime, we urge all supporters to update their digital NHS COVID pass to ensure it is up to date. We also recommend that supporters keep up with our latest news, via our website and club social media channels. If there are any changes to the requirements of the NHS COVID pass, we will communicate this as soon as possible.
We also urge supporters to arrive early to support us again with this process, and thank you for your patience.
Hospitality
We are pleased to announce that we are able to admit all corporate guests for this fixture.
However, hospitality guests should be aware that there will be some changes to their package for this fixture only. The hospitality team will be in contact with all guests on Monday (January 17) to inform them about their package for the Preston fixture.
The changes to packages are unavoidable due to the current Welsh Government restrictions in place. These restrictions include the rule of six in hospitality and 2m social distancing rules, which means we are physically unable to fulfil all packages as we normally would. Due to the short notice from Welsh Government, there are also increased pressures on staffing and on our suppliers.
Guests should be aware that this is for one fixture only, as Welsh Government restrictions are set to change before our next home fixture against Luton Town on Tuesday, February 1.
Match by match hospitality bookings will also be contacted directly on Monday (January 17) to discuss their package. We kindly request that hospitality guests refrain from contacting the team prior to further communications, and once again we thank guests for their patience as the team try to navigate through the changes for this fixture.
Streaming
As mentioned above, our fixture with Preston North End will now kick-off at 3pm, rather than the 12.30pm that was previously agreed.
The earlier kick-off time was to allow fans to be able to watch via SwansTV due to the game being played behind closed doors. However, with supporters now returning, both clubs and the EFL have agreed that the fixture can return to its original time of 3pm.
As a result, the game will only be available to international supporters. Supporters are advised that streaming codes sent out last month will now be invalid, and the codes have now been deactivated.
Catering
Catering will be available in the concourses as normal for general admission ticket holders.
Tickets
Tickets will be available to purchase on general sale from Monday (January 17) at 10am. There will be no windows of sale for this fixture and more information will be published on how to purchase these tickets over the weekend.
Swansea City would like to thank supporters for their patience during what has been a difficult few weeks for everyone - we can't wait to see you all back inside the Swansea.com Stadium.
Diolch yn fawr.
