Swansea City Ladies fell to their first defeat of 2018 in a top-of-the-table clash against leaders Cardiff Met University in the Welsh Premier Women's League.

The fixture was the first WPWL game to be live streamed online in the league's history.

And the contest did not disappoint as Stacey John-Davies put the Swans ahead at the start of the second half.

But there was late heartbreak for Swansea as two free-kicks from Met's Lauren Townsend sealed the win for Cardiff Met.

The result sent them 11 points clear at the top.
