Hattrick hero Rowe helps Swans win
A sensational hattrick by Rachel Rowe helped Swansea City Ladies demolish Wrexham 6-0 in the Welsh Premier Women's League Cup.
The Swans, who were at home on Sunday (September 29), were in sensational form, enabling them to dominate possession and win in emphatic fashion.
In truth, the hosts could have won by an even greater margin, had it not been for the excellent Wrexham goalkeeper Delyth Morgan.
The Swans created numerous goal-scoring opportunities, six of which were converted by the likes of Lindsay Morgan, Kelly Newcombe, Emma Beynon and - of course - the hattrick hero Rachel Rowe.
Swans captain Alicia Powe couldn't hide her delight with the team's performance and, in particular, the display of Rowe.
She said: "This was a real team performance and just reward for all the hard work the squad is putting in.
"It was great to see Rachel Rowe back in our team; she had a great game today."
