Harry Darling | Swansea City looking to back up win and clean sheet
Harry Darling wants Swansea City to start another unbeaten run by backing up victory at Blackburn when they host Sunderland on Saturday.
The 1-0 win at Ewood Park, Swansea’s first at the ground in 52 years, made it five wins from the last seven games for Michael Duff’s side.
In total they have taken 16 points from the last 24 available, when taking into account the draw at Queens Park Rangers.
They now host a Black Cats side looking to launch another promotion push, but centre-half Darling – who helped the Swans keep a fourth clean sheet of the season in Lancashire – feels he and his teammates can carry plenty of confidence into the Swansea.com Stadium encounter.
“We had a good reaction from the previous two games, and now have five wins from the last seven,” he said.
“We have bounced back, and we got a clean sheet, the lads have had to show resilience and the aim has to be to try and back this up.
“We have another tough game on Saturday, we had two really good games against them last season.
“They are doing well, but as long as we stick to our gameplan and play our game we will give ourselves a chance.”
