Swansea City will be boosted by the return of Harry Darling from suspension when they host Sheffield Wednesday at the Swansea.com Stadium on Wednesday night.

The defender has missed the last three games following the red card he received in the defeat against Sheffield United last month, but is fit and available to return to head coach Luke Williams’ squad.

Williams confirmed he now nearly has a fully-fit squad to choose from, with Joe Allen and Kristian Pedersen the only absentees.

“We are all okay, we have pretty much got a clean bill of health. We have everyone other than Joe and KP.

“Harry is back in the mix. Of course we are really happy to have him back. He is a really good player for us and the more players we have available the better.

“He is fit and available to play.”

But Williams acknowledged he will have a selection headache after Ben Cabango, Kyle Naughton and Hannes Delcroix performed so strongly in the weekend win at Bristol City, as part of a three-man defence.

“We will have to see, I thought Kyle Naughton was exceptional to be honest.

“We’ve got a way to go for us to be very well versed in this formation, but already I can see some positive signs. We have got that option now because we can play a back four, but we also have an option that gives us more flexibility.”
