Habitat Homecare name November Carer of the Month

Swansea City partner Habitat Homecare has named Michelle Evans as its ‘Carer of the Month' for November.

The 'Carer of the Month' scheme was launched by the people-centred care and services provider to recognise those carers who have gone above and beyond to improve someone’s life. Michelle was a standout candidate last month.

Working in the care sector is renowned for being one of the most rewarding to work in. Being a carer means you are able to make a real difference to people's lives on a daily basis – from cooking their favourite meal to making sure they are safe and cared for in their own homes.

Providing care for someone on a regular basis allows you make a real difference to someone’s life, particularly when you are supporting someone who is living with a condition that requires a wider range of more complex care needs.

Habitat Homecare’s care manager Roxy George, said: “Michelle is a hardworking, dedicated member of the Habitat team.

“She goes above and beyond for the people we support. Michelle has also helped on the companion side of our business and has built up great relations with a particular lady who she has enjoyed supporting.

“We are very lucky to have such a wonderful carer working with the people we support. Well done Michelle."
