Gonçalo Franco is available for Swansea City’s clash with West Bromwich Albion, but defender Ben Cabango will miss out against the Baggies.

Franco sat out the New Year’s Day loss at Portsmouth after having four of his lower teeth displaced in a collision with Mark McGuiness.

But he has recovered to be in contention to take on the west Midlands side in Swansea’s first home game of the new year.

However, Wales international Cabango is sidelined by the groin injury he suffered at Fratton Park.

“Franco is all good,” said Swans boss Williams.

“I imagine it is very uncomfortable and painful for him, but his teeth have been relocated to their original place. He’s a tough lad and he is desperate to play.

“Ben Cabango is not fully fit. He should not be too longer, it’s a very minor problem but he is not fully fit.”

Joe Allen was fit enough for a place on the bench at Portsmouth, but Kristian Pedersen remains sidelined.

Ollie Cooper, Sam Parker and Josh Ginnelly are continuing to work towards full fitness, while Nelson Abbey has been recalled from his loan spell by parent club Olympiacos.
