Girls invited to open trial
Under-14 girls in Swansea and the surrounding area have the chance to join an open football trial hosted by Swansea City.
The trial is open to all girls under the age of 14 (school years 8 & 9) and takes place on Saturday, September 20 at the Landore Academy (2.30-5.30pm).
Players of all abilities are invited to join the open trial, but those who do attend won't be expected to stay the whole three hours unless they want to.
Successful girls will then be invited to join an Under-14 Girls Development team.
Nia Davies, Swansea City's Girls Regional Football Co-ordinator, said: "This is an exciting opportunity for more girls in the South West Wales area to play football and get involved with Swansea City Girls Development.
"We want more girls in our area to come and find out a bit more about the club, our Development setup and what is on offer to them.
"Girls who get involved in our open trial could find themselves playing football with our Development team."
Girls attending should bring the following:
- Suitable boots for 3G pitch
- Shin pads
- Water bottle
- Suitable clothes for all weather
