George Byers and Jordon Garrick available for QPR clash
George Byers and Jordon Garrick are back in contention for Swansea City’s Boxing Day clash with Queens Park Rangers.
Byers is back to fitness after a troublesome groin injury, while Garrick has also got over a recent niggle and they are both available to face the Rs at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium.
But Kyle Naughton remains a doubt with the side strain that saw him miss the weekend win over Barnsley.
“George is back training with us, and he has played a couple of under-23 games,” said head coach Steve Cooper.
“He and Jordon are available for the game on Boxing Day.
“Kyle is touch and go, he has an oblique injury, which is a strange injury for a football. It’s more of a cricketing injury really. It’s nothing too serious though.”
Cooper also confirmed Morgan Gibbs-White is nearing a return from his fractured foot.
“He is close to being back on the grass with us,” he added.
“Another three or four days and he will be with us.”
