Garry Monk hails new Swansea City signing Kristoffer Nordfeldt

Garry Monk believes Swansea City's latest acquisition will add strength in depth to his goalkeeper options.
Swedish international Kristoffer Nordfeldt became the third signing of the summer when he joined the Swans from Dutch side Heerenveen on Tuesday.
The 26-year-old will compete with Lukasz Fabianski for the keeper role within the Swans squad following the recent exits of Gerhard Tremmel and David Cornell.
Swans boss Monk expressed his delight with the capture of Nordfeldt. He said: "We are very happy with the acquisition.
"Goalkeeper is an area we wanted to strengthen and the arrival of Kristoffer will increase the competition in the squad; something I'm always looking for.
"He has played international football and Swansea City and the Premier League is the next step for him domestically. He already has all the attributes to play in the Premier League, which is what I'm looking for, yet he also has plenty of potential to keep improving.
"Lukasz (Fabianski) had a fantastic season last year and it is going to be a challenge for Kristoffer. He has to try and claim the number one spot and, having spoken to him at length, I know he is focussed on that challenge.
"Just as important, he wants that challenge. He wants to prove himself at the next level and play Premier League football."
