FULL-TIME: Millwall 2 Swans U21s 1
23rd August
The Swans Under-21s suffered their second successive defeat as they went down to a narrow loss at Millwall.
The home side dominated early on and after a number of good chances, eventually took the lead when Liam Trotter curled home from 20 yards.
Rory Donnelly went close to an equaliser but the visitors were hit with a sucker-punch on the stroke of half-time as Millwall doubled their lead.
Alfie Pavey was at the heart of it again for the home side and he set up Charlie Penny to beat Gregor Zabret.
The Swans did pull one back with a quarter of the game to go as Rory Donnelly cut inside the Millwall defence before firing past the keeper for his second goal in as many games.
