Four Academy players called up to Wales Under-21s

Four Swansea City Under-21s players have been called up to Matty Jones' Wales Under-21 squad ahead of their upcoming friendly against Scotland in Pinatar, Spain.
Swans stopper Ben Hughes - who has recently signed his first professional contract at the club - joins Ben Lloyd, Cameron Congreve and Joel Cotterill on their first call-ups to the under-21 age group after featuring for Rob Edwards' Wales Under-18s and Under-19s previously.
The friendly will help Wales prepare for the Uefa Under-21 European Championship qualifying campaign, which kicks off in June 2023 with the Welsh age-side set to face Lithuania, Czech Republic, Iceland and Denmark.
