Fede back in Swans fold

Federico Fernandez was back in training with his Swansea City team-mates today after returning to Wales over the weekend.

Fernandez has missed the Swans’ last three games following the death of his father.

The Argentinian star flew back to South America after the sad news came through ahead of the Swans’ goalless draw with Bournemouth nine days ago.

Fernandez spent a week with his family, meaning he was absent for the Premier League defeats at Chelsea and Stoke.

But Fernandez was back at the Swans’ Fairwood training base today and rejoined his team-mates as they began building up towards Saturday’s key home fixture against West Bromwich Albion.
