Fab: Swans can thrive under Potter
Lukasz Fabianski believes Graham Potter is the right man to lead Swansea City as they look to make an instant return to the Premier League.
The Swans are back in the Championship next season after their seven-year Premier League adventure came to an end in May.
The club go into the new campaign with a new manager after Potter took up the reins following his switch from Swedish club Ostersund.
And Fabianski, who will be watching the Swans’ fortunes from afar after completing a move to West Ham, believes Potter has the credentials to steer the club in the right direction.
“I really feel Swansea can bounce back,” said Fabianski, who spent four years at the Liberty before joining the Hammers for an undisclosed fee.
“The club needs to stabilise and I think Graham Potter is the right fit for the club. His background seems to fit the Swansea way.
“I will, of course, be checking Swansea’s results every single game. I want to see Swansea return to the Premier League immediately because the club has everything in place to achieve that.”
The Swans will know their fixtures for the 2018-19 Championship campaign at 9am on Thursday.
