‘Everything is there to play for’
Botti Biabi insists Swansea City Under-23s must dream big but stay focused as the Premier League 2 campaign reaches its finale.
The striker was on target and provided an assist to help the young Swans to a 2-0 victory over Manchester United at the Liberty Stadium on Sunday – the development side's 10th league win of the campaign.
The result lifts the under-23s to third in the Division One table, just two points off league leaders Leicester City, and Biabi is targeting more goals during the season run-in.
“I am pleased to be back on the scoresheet,” Biabi said. “It’s always great to get a goal and help the team continue to push forward.
“As a striker you just want to score goals. Any chance I get, I want to put it in the net, so I’ll be targeting more before the end of the season.
“It was not the best of performances from us against United, but we made our chances count to get the win and three points.
“We have a great bunch of players and, if we continue to work hard and deliver performances, I believe we can continue our push up the league.
“Why not dream big and look to go all the way? Everything is there to play for.
“If we keep our feet on the ground, stay focused, keep training well and delivering performances on the pitch, we can get more wins this season and who knows.”
