Details confirmed for Swansea City Under-21s' Nathaniel MG Cup Quarter-Final
Swansea City Under-21s' Nathaniel MG Cup quarter-final tie against Briton Ferry Llansawel will take place on Monday October 23 at The Old Road (7.45pm).
The Swans eased through the opening round of this competition with a 4-0 victory over Carmarthen Town, before winning their second-round fixture 3-1 against JD Cymru South outfit Caerau Ely.
The age-grade side sealed their place in the quarter-finals by beating Cardiff City Under-21s on penalties at the Swansea.com Stadium in September.
Briton Ferry Llansawel - who currently sit on top of the JD Cymru South - secured a 1-0 win over AFC Ammanford in the third-round to progress to the quarter-final.
In the earlier rounds, the Ferry beat Abergavenny Town and Llanwit Major 2-0 and 3-1 respectively.
The Swans had been drawn at home, but the decision to move the tie to the opposition’s home ground has been taken to aid the players’ development by playing in a challenging away environment.
