Jason Scotland was the Swansea City hero at Huddersfield on this day in 2008.

This was the last Swans fixture to be played on St David’s Day, with Roberto Martinez’s team making the long trip to Yorkshire.

And they came home happy after Scotland scored the only goal to keep the Swans top of League One.

The Trinidad & Tobago striker stabbed home from close range after Alan Tate flicked on a corner just before half-time.

The Swans held on to seal three more points. The season would end with them winning the title in style.
