Date and ticket details confirmed for FA Cup tie
Swansea City’s Emirates FA Cup fifth-round tie against Brentford will be played at the Liberty Stadium on Sunday, February 17 at 4pm.
The tie will accommodate live coverage from BBC Wales television.
After the success of the fourth-round tie against Gillingham, the club is pleased to announce that the game will once again be a designated 'Kids for a Quid' fixture, while young fans will also be encouraged to ‘Come With Your Club’.
Over 15,000 attended the Gillingham fixture, with more than 2,000 coming together with their junior football club to enjoy an entertaining 4-1 victory.
Young fans (under-16) can experience the magic of the cup for themselves for just £1.
There will be a maximum of four kids’ tickets per paying adult. There is also no booking fee on the kids’ tickets.
Adult prices for season ticket holders and Jack Army members have also been cut to just £10*, with concessions paying just £7.50*.
General sale prices for non-season ticket holders and non-Jack Army members will be £15* for adults and £12.50* concessions.
Prices will increase for all on match day to £20* for adults and £15* concessions, although the £1 kids’ price will remain at all times.
Supporters should be aware that under FA Cup rules all ticket prices must be agreed between both clubs.
*There is a booking fee of £1.25 per ticket purchased online, or £2.50 per ticket purchased by phone or in person will apply. There is no booking fee for the £1 kids’ tickets.
Tickets will go on sale exclusively for season ticket holders (excluding North Stand ST holders) this Wednesday and Thursday (Feb 6 & 7) to guarantee the same seat, while Jack Army members will be able to purchase the best of the rest from Friday (Feb 8).
Due to an increased away allocation rule for the FA Cup, the North Stand will not be open to home fans. North Stand season ticket holders will be able to purchase the best of the rest on Friday (Feb 8).
Tickets will go on general sale on Saturday (Feb 9) for online purchase only, while they will be available from the ticket office in person or over the phone from 10am on Monday (Feb 11).
‘Come With Your Club’
‘Come With Your Club’ gives junior football teams the opportunity to book group tickets for the tie at a discounted rate that will be less than individually-priced tickets.
Your club will also be able to sit together for the game. So, why not ‘Come With Your Club’ wearing your team colours and back your other local club - Swansea City.
