Dan Williams extends Swansea City contract

Swansea City midfielder Dan Williams has signed a contract extension to keep him at the club until the end of June 2023.
Williams’ previous deal had been due to expire this coming summer, but he has penned a new deal, which includes the option for an additional year through to 2024.
The 20-year-old impressed when handed his first-team bow in the Carabao Cup games against Reading and Plymouth, winning praise from head coach Russell Martin.
He has also been a regular for the club’s under-23s and Wales Under-21s, whilst training with the first team for the majority of the last two-and-a-half seasons.
Williams has been with the Swans since under-eight level. The central midfielder, whose father Nigel was also a scholar in SA1, progressed through the youth ranks before signing his first professional contract in the summer of 2019.
