Cullen targets goal run
Liam Cullen is eyeing a scoring run after netting his first league goal for Swansea City Under-23s.
The 18-year-old came off the bench to claim his third of the season to ensure the development side beat Chelsea 2-0 in Premier League 2 on Saturday.
And the striker, who netted 21 goals for the under-18s last season, is keen to keep taking the opportunities he gets in front of goal.
“I want to score goals in every game I go into,” Cullen said.
“That is what my game is about and the Chelsea goal proves that I can get goals at this level.
“To get another goal is a bonus for me. Hopefully I can carry on and keep scoring.
“I feel I am learning with every game I play this season and I want that to continue.
“We have a lot of quality in the team but if I can earn a regular starting role it could be a big opportunity.
“The only thing I can do is continue to work hard on the training pitch and find the net when I am given the opportunity to score.”
