Cullen nominated for PL2 Player of the Month
Swansea City Under-23s' striker Liam Cullen has been nominated for the Premier League 2 Player of the Month award for April.
The 20-year-old netted twice from his two appearances last month, finding the net against Tottenham and Manchester City.
That took Cullen's tally to 10 for the season and he will be hoping to help the development side reach the final of the Premier League Cup when they host Everton at the Liberty Stadium in Saturday's semi-final (12pm).
The other nominees are Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones, Manchester United striker Mason Greenwood, Blackburn forward Daniel Butterworth, Fulham's Tyrese Francois and Wolves' defender Ryan Giles.
The shortlist was decided by the Premier League’s Football Development Panel after PL2 club managers picked the best performance by an opposing player in each of their league matches in April.
