Connor Roberts features in Wales' Euro 2020 opener
Swansea City's Connor Roberts played the full game as Wales opened their Euro 2020 campaign with a 1-1 draw against Switzerland in Baku.
Roberts was deployed at right-back for the Group A fixture, in which Rob Page's side fell behind to a Breel Embelo header in the sweltering heat of the Azerbaijan capital.
But Wales regrouped and got their rewards for a period of pressure when Kieffer Moore lost his marker to guide a header past Yann Sommer and into the far corner of the net with 16 minutes remaining.
A frantic finale ensued, with Switzerland correctly having a late strike ruled out for offside, but it ended all-square.
Wales will next face Turkey on Wednesday, June 16 (5pm kick-off), again in Baku.
Ben Cabango was not named in the matchday 23.
