Confidence is growing, says Carlos
Carlos Carvalhal believes his side are growing in confidence after they secured their third win of his tenure against Liverpool on Monday night.
The Swans stunned an in-form Liverpool side as Alfie Mawson's 40th-minute strike was enough to bring the Reds' 18-game unbeaten run to an abrupt end.
The victory, meanwhile, sees the Swans go within three points of safety.
And Carvalhal believes that his side are improving and in a far healthier position than they were at the start of his tenure.
"We are breathing," said Carvalhal. "We are in the hospital, but not in the emergency department.
"We’re still not in a good position - we have a lot of work to do - but confidence is higher and the dynamic is better. The commitment is very strong and the signs are good.
"After the Watford game I said that maybe one in 100 people would say we wouldn't get relegated. Now I believe that maybe 20 in 100 will think this way.
"But to us, the most important thing is to focus on each game and play with organisation. We are doing better and better and achieving points.
"The next game against Notts County is the most important of the season because it is the next one. We focus on that and nothing more."
