Clement targets strong tour finish
Paul Clement is targeting a strong finish to Swansea City’s pre-season tour of America.
The Swans drew the opening game of their trip against MLS side Philadelphia Union before beating Richmond Kickers 2-1 on Wednesday night.
Now they face North Carolina on Saturday night (7.30pm local time) before flying home the following day.
And Clement is keen to see his players sign off on a positive note at the Wakemed Stadium.
“We want to finish off the tour strongly,” he said. “There are always thing to work on however well you play.
“We are at the stage where we are integrating a couple of new players while we played two systems against Richmond on Wednesday, so overall it was a good exercise for us.
“Now we’re back on the training ground preparing for another game.
“The players who played the lesser minutes on Wednesday will have more game-time against North Carolina.
“But the focus remains on improving and I want to see the players end our trip here in a very encouraging manner.”
