Chico looks for cutting edge
4th April
Chico Flores may have cut his long locks and banished his pony tail, but Swansea City's centre-back hopes to have an extra spring in his step this weekend.
Following last weekend's 3-0 win over Norwich City at the Liberty, the Spaniard flew back to his homeland to undergo a new look.
His new barnet gained a lot of attention on social media sites and websites, while he got a big round of applause from his Swans team-mates after revealing his new hairstyle at his first training session since returning from Spain.
"I had at least two kilograms cut off my hair, so I will be faster now!" joked Chico.
The Swans hope to be quick out of the blocks at Hull City on Saturday as they look to build on two positive results last week and create a bigger gap from the teams below them.
A draw at The Emirates was followed by a convincing home win over Norwich in what were two hugely positive results for Garry Monk's side.
Hull, meanwhile, go into the game at the KC Stadium on the back of two defeats at West Ham and Stoke City.
With both sides on 33 points from 32 games, points are crucial at this stage of the season.
And Chico, who earned the Swans a point in the 1-1 draw with Hull at the Liberty back in December, expects nothing less than a real battle.
"Hull will be a very difficult game because they need the points as much as we do," added the 27-year-old.
"They are at home and they have lost their last two games so they will be determined to win."
