Charlie Patino relishing chance to learn from experienced campaigners

Charlie Patino is loving his time at Swansea City, and is eager to learn as much as possible from the experienced heads around him in Michael Duff’s squad.

The on-loan Arsenal midfielder has enjoyed a fine start to life in SA1, racking up one goal and three assists from his nine appearances so far.

He has dovetailed well with Matt Grimes in a deeper midfield role in recent games, and is thoroughly enjoying training alongside experienced campaigners such as the skipper and Jay Fulton.

“I am loving being here, I love coming into the training ground at Fairwood every day,” said Patino, who is currently away on England Under-21 duty.

“It’s great to be working with and learning from payers like Matt Grimes, Jay Fulton and Joe Allen who have so much experience at this level.

“They know the game in my position inside and out.

“It’s going to help me develop on and off the pitch. I want to keep improving.”
