Carlos set to discuss future
Carlos Carvalhal will discuss his Swansea City future over the next couple of days.
Carvalhal’s Swans contract is up and he says no decision has been made yet on whether he will stay to lead the club in the Championship next season.
“I spoke yesterday with the owners,” the Swans manager said after seeing his team lose their final game of the season against Stoke.
“They asked me about the possibility of working next here next season and I replied that I need time to think.
“I will take two or three days to talk with my family and my agent and after that we will make a decision.
“I must think about myself and the club must think what is the best for them.”
Carvalhal spent two-and-a-half years working in the Championship with Sheffield Wednesday.
“In two seasons we got to the play-offs twice,” he added.
“That’s something that’s very hard to do. It’s a hard competition, with games every day which is very difficult.
“To be promoted from this division you have to be very strong, with technical quality and also mentally you must be very strong.”
