Cameron Evans signs first professional deal
Swansea City defender Cameron Evans has put pen to paper on his first professional deal with the club.
The 18-year-old centre-half has signed a one-year contract through to June 2020.
Evans has progressed through the Swans ranks since joining the club at under-nine level having grown up a stone's throw away from the Liberty Stadium.
He served as the under-18s' vice-captain during the 2018-19 season, skippering the side on occasions, while he wore the armband in the under-19s' FAW Youth Cup final victory over TNS.
Evans - the younger brother of midfielder Jack - also made a couple of appearances for the under-23s - starting their Checkatrade Trophy showdown with Stevenage, and coming on as a substitute in the Premier League Cup semi-final against Everton.
