Caitlin Williams | Our clinical edge will come
Defender Caitlin Williams insists Swansea City Women are capable of finding a clinical edge in front of goal despite the disappointment of dropping important points in their goalless draw against Briton Ferry Llansawel Ladies.
Williams made her second start for the Swans since joining in January, completing her first 90 minutes as she helped the side to a second clean sheet since her arrival.
But the defender was left frustrated that the side couldn’t make the most of the dominance they showed for the majority of the game.
“We’ve come away disappointed not to get the win. I think overall we had a lot of possession so it was a good performance, it's just frustrating not to get the win.
“We’ve had a few chances, we just need to be putting those away and that is something that will come.
“We are creating those opportunities in the first place, which is positive, we just need to be that bit more clinical.
“It was a battle to say the least, they are a physical side and a tight-knit team so they made it difficult.
“I think we handled that well and I think that’s something that showed with the amount of possession that we had.
"It's just about making sure we convert those chances when they come, and I know we have the ability to improve on that."
