Brandon Cooper ruled out with ankle injury
Brandon Cooper is the only absentee as Swansea City prepare to face Barnsley in their Championship play-off semi-final first leg on Monday.
The Swans travel to Oakwell for the first leg before returning to face the Tykes at the Liberty Stadium next Saturday.
And Steve Cooper has a full squad to choose from apart from defender Brandon Cooper, who has been ruled out with an ankle injury.
The young defender – who enjoyed a positive loan spell at Newport County earlier this season – missed a period out with an ankle injury at the turn of the year and is now ruled out with a similar knock.
But aside from that, Cooper has a clean bill of health within the squad ahead of the play-offs – including top scorer Andre Ayew - while Ben Cabango is also back after missing the final-day defeat to Watford with a groin injury.
“He’s (Brandon) got a high sprained ankle, similar to the one he did previously but on his other foot,” said Cooper. That’s ruled him out for a couple of months.
“It’s a disappointment for him, we are gutted for him but I’ve had a good to chat with him and told him he’s just got to focus in on next season now.
"He's (Cabango) fine. He missed the first part of training this week. But he's back with us for the last couple of days. Andre’s good and the rest of the squad are good. We’ll be ready to go."
