Bony's bound for Brazil
18th November
On a busy weekend of international football, Swans striker Wilfried Bony was celebrating his nation's qualification to the World Cup in Brazil.
The Ivory Coast held Senegal 1-1 in a Play-Off which meant they progressed 4-2 on aggregate.
Bony was an unused substitute in both legs, but he will be hopeful of being part of Sabri Lamouchi's squad for the World Cup in Brazil.
Meanwhile, on the friendly front, Ashley Williams skippered Wales in their 1-1 draw with Finland in Cardiff.
Fellow Swans Neil Taylor, Ben Davies and Jazz Richards - on loan at Huddersfield - also featured as Chris Coleman's side were pegged back in added-on time.
Jonathan de Guzman came off the bench for Holland in their 2-2 draw with Japan while Ki Sung-Yueng - currently on loan at Sunderland - was part of the South Korea line-up as they beat Switzerland 2-1.
