Bony: Make quality count
Wilfried Bony believes the Swans have the quality to change their fortunes around despite a 2-0 defeat at Burnley.
Paul Clement’s side suffered a fourth consecutive league loss as a goal from former Swan Jack Cork and a fierce Ashley Barnes strike sent Burnley to within a point of the Champions League spots.
The loss leaves the Swans in 19th place and two points from fourth-bottom West Brom.
But Bony, who went close to reducing the deficit after being introduced at the break for Jordan Ayew, feels the team have what it takes to end their recent run of results.
“It was a very disappointing result,” said the Ivorian.
“It’s up to us to change things. We need to win and we will do our best to do that.
“We have the quality. We need to turn the bad moment into a good moment, and then everything will be bright again.
“Three points can be massive for our confidence and to make our fans happy.”
