Ben Cabango | We want to keep up the momentum
Ben Cabango wants Swansea City to make sure they build on the momentum of back-to-back home wins.
Andy Rinomhota’s own goal was the difference in Saturday's 1-0 win over Rotherham United, as the midfielder inadvertently nodded Liam Walsh’s corner past his own keeper in the 74th minute.
But the margin of victory could have been greater for the Swans, with Viktor Johansson making saves to deny Liam Cullen, Jamie Paterson and Ronald.
There was also another clean sheet for the Swans and Wales international Cabango hopes they can build on a recent good run and finish the season strongly with matches against Huddersfield Town, Norwich City, and Millwall to come.
“These games are always frustrating when you’re up against a low block,” he said.
“It’s just about being patient. Obviously the goal was a bit fortunate, but I thought we deserved the win.
“After the Cardiff game, it hasn’t been great in terms of performances, but we’ve turned it around and the two wins have been big. It's two clean sheets as well, and we’re always happy with that.
“We’ve shown we can do it back-to-back now, and we’ve just got to keep going until the end of the season. Hopefully we can keep up the momentum.
“We just need to keep doing the things we’re doing, and improve on the little things. We believe it will come together and hopefully we can end the season well."
