Ben Cabango a doubt for Plymouth Argyle assignment
Ben Cabango is a doubt for Swansea City’s trip to Plymouth Argyle, while Kristian Pedersen is set to miss out at Home Park.
Wales international Cabango came off after feeling his hamstring during the midweek win over Norwich City, and the Swans are awaiting the results of a scan before determining if he is available for Saturday’s game.
But Pedersen is not in contention due to the groin injury that kept him out of the wins over Millwall and Norwich, although he is expected to be fit for the Leicester fixture after the international break.
“Ben is doubtful, we are waiting for results of a scan. We don’t think it’s serious, but we will wait and see what the results say,” said Duff.
“There’s nothing we can do if he is injured, we have got cover. We have Bashir (Humphreys) who moved there the other night. Kyle Naughton is back fit now and we have capable replacements.
“We are thin, but we have players ready to step in.
“If there is nothing in Ben’s scan he will be available for us, but we are still waiting on things.
“Kristian will not be ready for the weekend, but he will be back for the Leicester game, it’s just a small injury, but it was a 10-day to two-week injury, which means he misses out.”
