Swansea City has launched a brand-new interactive map which will allow members of the Jack Army based around the world – our Global Jacks – to feel a greater part of the Swans family.

Global Jacks is a jointly-managed Swansea City Supporters' Trust and Swansea City project open to any Swans supporters from across the globe. One of the purposes of the project is to help supporters situated outside of Swansea to find out about each other and feel part of a community of fans.

The introduction of the interactive map allows individual supporters the chance to make themselves known alongside larger, more-established supporter groups. Information on how groups and individuals can be added to the map is on the new Global Jacks page.

The club has also pledged to hold at least one virtual event for Global Jacks this season - while for the past two years international supporters have travelled to the Swansea.com Stadium for a special Global Jacks visit - to sit alongside other fan events due to take place in and around Swansea.

Hayley Ford, head of supporter services, said: “We hope the introduction of the interactive map will give a more visual representation of the supporters we have all around the world, as well as making like-minded Swans supporters easier to find.

“When speaking to our fans both in Swansea and further afield, the sense of being part of the Swansea City community is often a large part of what makes the club special to them.

“We hope providing a platform for individual fans and more established fan groups to make themselves known to each other will help to forge a stronger sense of community.”

Dave Dalton, chair of the Swansea City Supporters' Trust, added: "This is another positive step forward in bringing our supporters from all over the world closer to the club. We know there are thousands of Jacks who may not be able to attend matches as often as they'd like but enjoy coming together and supporting us from various parts of the world.

"This new interactive map that the club have introduced will be a huge help in allowing supporters who live and work all over the world to reach out to one another and form new friendships around our passion for the Swans."
