SEAT ALLOCATION

Just under 3,000 away fans can be housed in the away end at Middlesbrough. This is located in the East Stand, towards the south-east corner of the ground.

The stadium was built in the early 1990s but has been updated over the years. The roof of the stadium contains Perspex panels to allow more sunlight to reach the pitch.

There are very few eateries in close proximity to the stadium, however food and drink is served in the concourses.

The away turnstiles are usually numbered 53-61 – though please check your ticket for the latest information – and turnstiles tend to open 90 minutes before kick-off.

PARKING

The stadium is fairly easy to locate and is well sign-posted. However, parking restrictions are in place around the ground and are enforced on matchdays.

There is some limited parking available at the stadium, but this must be booked in advance by contacting the ticket office at Middlesbrough.

There are a number of private car parks located (mostly on wasteland) nearby. Many of these are on the same route as the away coach park, and so following those signs should help you locate a car park.

Due to traffic build up around the stadium, it can take a long time to exit car parks at and near the stadium following the game, some fans therefore choose to park in the town centre, which is a 15 to 20-minute walk away.

Driving directions can be found here.

SUPPORTERS COACHES

Return coach travel for this fixture is available to purchase online through the Swansea City ticketing site and will depart from the Swansea.com Stadium at 6am. The return journey is priced at £47 per person.

BY TRAIN

Planned industrial action will take place on April 6 affecting Chiltern Railways, Great Western Railway, Heathrow Express, LNER, Northern, and TransPennine Express

This means it is not possible to travel to Middlesbrough by train on the day of the game.

There are trains from Swansea to Middlesbrough on Friday and Sunday for those planning to stay in north Yorkshire overnight.

Regular direct trains depart from York, Leeds, Manchester and London, and there are connecting services via Eaglescliffe and Darlington.

Please plan any rail travel in advance and pay attention to local service disruption.

BY BUS

Middlesbrough bus station is a 20 to 25-minute walk from the Riverside Stadium. Arriva buses, as well as National Express and Megabus coaches, use this bus station. There are currently no direct bus services to the stadium from the bus station.

NEARBY PUBS

Doctor Browns tends to prove popular with away supporters. It is located at the bottom of Corporation Road (in the town centre) and is around a 10-minute walk from the stadium.

There are a number of options for away supporters in the town centre, including five micropubs and a bar called La Pharmacie, which used to be an old chemist.
