Swansea City are in midweek action at the King Power Stadium on Tuesday evening as they travel to face league-leaders Leicester City (7.45pm kick-off).

Here is a handy travel guide for all members of the Jack Army making the journey to the east Midlands.

TICKETS

Tickets will come off sale at 9.30am on Tuesday morning at the Swansea.com Stadium ticket office.

 

POSTAGE/ DELIVERY

All tickets purchased before 4pm on Friday January 26 have been posted out, with all tickets purchased after this point being available to collect from the Swansea.com Stadium on Monday, January 29.

Any uncollected tickets will then be sent to the Matchday Ticket Collections Unit at the King Power Stadium. These will be available for collection from around 90 minutes before kick-off.

Any supporter collecting tickets at the host venue will need to show photo ID before collecting.

If your tickets have not arrived in the post by 11am on Tuesday, January 30, please let the ticket office know by emailing ticketing@swanseacity.com and including your customer number or booking reference, and the club will arrange duplicate tickets for you to collect at the host club.

The club cannot guarantee any duplicate requests received after this time will be actioned. All supporters collecting pre-paid tickets or duplicates MUST produce photographic ID when collecting at the King Power Stadium. Failure to produce this may result in you not being issued your tickets.

 

SEAT ALLOCATION

The club has received an allocation of 1,079 tickets for this fixture and away supporters are housed in the north-east corner of the stadium.

Supporters can access this area through turnstiles 40 to 49 (dependent on ticket allocation) and turnstiles open up to 90 minutes before kick-off.

The accessible entrance is at turnstiles 42 to 43.

 

CASHLESS VENUE

Please be aware, the King Power Stadium is a cashless venue.

 

TRAVELLING BY CAR

The host club have recommended the following route into the stadium. Exit the M1 at Junction 21 and follow signs for the City Centre via the A5460. After three miles, turn right onto Upperton Road, follow the road down until you get to the Liberty Statue Island and take the fifth exit down Western Boulevard. You will then see the King Power Stadium on your right-hand side.

The club have advised that there are several independent car parks in the area surrounding the King Power Stadium. These facilities generally cost £4 to £5 per car.  

The car parks are situated around Freemans Common and Leicester Tigers Rugby Stadium which is around a 10-minute walk from the King Power Stadium.

Match-going supporters are advised that roadworks on Raw Dykes Road and Upperton Road are likely to cause significant delays, with full-time works expected until October 2024.

Those planning to visit the King Power Stadium, along either of these routes, are advised to factor additional travel time into their journey, car share or utilise alternative modes of transport

 

TRAVELLING BY TRAIN

Leicester Train Station is roughly 1.2 miles from the King Power Stadium. This equates to an approximate five-minute car journey or up to a 45-minute walk.

Trains from Swansea to Leicester take approximately four-and-a-half hours, leaving Swansea at regular intervals. There are no return trains on matchday.

 

 

SUPPORTER COACHES

Spaces on the supporter coaches have now sold out.

 

NEARBY PUBS

The designated pub for visiting supporters is The Counting House (LE2 7LH) on Freemans Park. It is approximately a 10-minute walk from the ground.

Alternatively, there are a number of food and drink catering vans which are situated around the ground and serve home and away supporters. There are also kiosks within the concourse.
