Away days: Millwall
As the Swans get set to face Millwall on Saturday, we bring you a fan's guide to The Den to improve your matchday experience.
Millwall v Swans
Saturday, September 1 (5.30pm)
Address: The Den, Zampa Road, London, SE16 3LN
Website: millwallfc.co.uk
SEAT ALLOCATION
Around 4,000 away supporters are housed in the upper tier of the North Stand. Food on offer in the stadium includes pies, cheese and onion pasties, sausage rolls, burgers and chips.
PARKING
There are no sizeable car parks around the stadium, although street parking can be found on the small estate on your left just past it. Be wary of street parking restrictions, though, and check lampposts for signage.
BY TRAIN
The nearest railway station is South Bermondsey, which is a few minutes’ walk from the Den.
There is a direct walkway to the stadium specifically built for visiting fans that takes you straight to the away end within a few minutes.
Alternatively, if the visiting team brings a sizeable following, there tends to be an
‘away fan’ football special train laid on from London Bridge to get supporters to the ground safely.
The journey from Swansea takes between four-and-a-half and five hours on average. Trains leave at 29 minutes past the hour 7.29am to 12.29pm, but the only return journey departs South Bermondsey at 7.31pm.
