Away days: Bolton Wanderers
As the Swans get set to face Bolton Wanderers on Saturday, we bring you a fan's guide to the University of Bolton Stadium to improve your matchday experience.
Bolton Wanderers v Swans
Saturday, November 10 (3pm)
Address: University of Bolton Stadium, Burnden Way, Bolton, S60 1AH
Website: bwfc.co.uk
SEAT ALLOCATION
Around 5,000 travelling supporters are housed in the South Stand at one end of the stadium, where you can enjoy plenty of leg room and good facilities, although the normal allocation is nearer 3,000. Food on offer includes a selection of pies, as well as cheeseburgers and hot dogs.
PARKING
There is a car park at the stadium, where it costs £7 to park and £12 for minibuses. This car park fills quite quickly and will more than likely prevent a quick getaway after the game. However, there are a lot of surrounding industrial estate units that offer cheaper parking – some of which are located either side of Lostock Lane – usually between £4 and £5.
BY TRAIN
From Swansea, the journey to Bolton takes around five hours on average. Thereon, you can take the 10-minute connection to Horwich Parkway station, which is about a quarter of a mile from the stadium.
Trains leave Swansea at 6.47am, 7.44am and 8.54am. The return journeys depart at 5.46pm and 6.46pm, arriving at 11.07pm and 12.04am respectively.
