Swansea City defender Arthur Parker has signed his first professional contract at the club.

The former Fulham youth player, who spent nine years on the books with the Cottagers, has put pen to paper to extend his stay in SA1 until June 2026.

The 18-year-old joined Swansea City in the summer of 2021, following a successful trial period, and linked up with the under-18s.

He has since made several appearances for Anthony Wright's under-21 side, making his full debut in the age-grade side's 2-1 away victory over Colchester United in February.

Under-18s' head coach Jarred Harvey, said: "It's a brilliant achievement for Arthur, who has shown he is capable of earning this deal since he joined.

"I've only worked with him for a short amount of time, but he's always focused and determined. He suffered an injury in the FA Youth Cup in February, but has worked so hard to get back and I'm sure he'll show that on the pitch when the season starts."
