Anthony Wright praised a controlled performance from Swansea City Under-21s after they claimed a 4-0 win over Fleetwood Town at Landore.

An own goal from Harry Wright-Ocana and a goal from Joel Cotterill gave the home side a 2-0 lead at the interval.

Wales Under-21 international Cotterill went on to add his second after the break, before Maliq Cadogan – fresh from a hat-trick against Watford last week – rounded off the scoring.

The fixture saw the return of Kyrell Wilson after three months on the sideline, and the 19-year-old made his mark an assist for Cadogan's goal.

And Wright was a happy man after the development side backed up last week's thumping 5-0 win at Watford.

"We had a lot of control in the game which I was really pleased with. We got four goals and kept another clean sheet, which is brilliant," he said.

"Cotts [Joel Cotterill] was excellent, and he got his reward with two top goals. We see him put away those free-kicks in training everyday.

"His second goal was of a top level, and the fourth goal was a well-worked team move.

"Another positive is seeing Kyrell return from injury. He stretches that backline for us and he's always a threat.

"We worked for the win, we knew that they were a team that had lots of energy, and would press us.

"Overall, it was a good test for the players and it is brilliant to get two wins and two clean sheets back to back."
