Paul Clement has revealed that Carlo Ancelotti is set for a visit to Swansea City following his departure from Bayern Munich.
Clement worked under Ancelotti, one of the most highly regarded managers in Europe, at Chelsea, Real Madrid, Paris St Germain and Bayern before taking the Swans job back in January.
Now, having left his role at Bayern last month, the Italian is planning a trip to Wales to see his long-time assistant.
“Carlo has said he will come and see me,” Clement explained.
“I don’t know when yet, but I am looking forward to having him here, and to him spending some time at the training ground and watching us play.”
Clement spoke to Ancelotti on the day he lost his job at Bayern.
“I have left him alone since then – I am sure he has been enjoying a break from football,” added the Swans manager.
“But I look forward to him coming over here. When he does, we will have to time to have a proper catch-up.”
