Academy sides start pre-season campaigns with victories
Swansea City's Under-18s and Under-21s got their pre-season campaigns off to a flying start with victories over Briton Ferry Llansawel's Under-18s and first team respectively.
The under-18s won 3-0 against their age-grade opponents in Llandarcy, with a team featuring plenty of new faces.
Sammy Henia-Kamau was amongst the goals in his first outing in a Swansea City shirt, whilst a trialist added the second goal of the afternoon.
First-year scholar Iestyn Jones - who has just made the full-time step up to the under-18s - sealed the win with the final goal.
Meanwhile, at Fairwood, the under-21s cruised to a 6-1 win over Briton Ferry's first team. Swans debutant Glory Nzingo grabbed a brace following his arrival from France last month.
Last season's under-18s' top scorer Iwan Morgan grabbed a goal, with Liam Smith and Ruben Davies also among those to find the net.
Sixteen-year-old Thomas Woodward, meanwhile, claimed his first goal for the under-21s after featuring at under-18 level last term.
