Academy sides continue pre-season preparations
Swansea City's Under-18s and Under-21s continued their pre-season programmes with friendlies against Leyton Orient and Barry Town United respectively.
The younger age-group played out a 2-2 draw against The O's behind closed doors at Fairwood. In-form midfielder Josh Pescatore opened the scoring for the Swans just after the 10-minute mark.
The visitors quickly responded with the equaliser three minutes later, but striker Harvey Gray struck home to regain the advantage for the Swans going into the break; having assisted Pescatore's early goal.
But Orient would find a second equaliser after the interval.
Coach Jarred Harvey fielded a young squad with the likes of Carter Heywood and Ellis Thomas featuring. There were also first appearances for Rio Hassan, Kareem Hussein and Alfie Jones.
At Jenner Park, Barry Town completed a comeback after falling 1-0 down thanks to Iestyn Jones' goal before the break.
The JD Cymru South side netted three goals of their own in the second period, one of which came from Ben Margetson, against his younger brother Kit in the Swansea goal.
Sammy Henia-Kamau netted his third goal in as many games late on as it finished 3-2.
